Hi, David from Germany here.
Was a Tek Syndicate Lurker (actually posted my all AMD "Budget" Build and got a bit of flag for it ), have been watching Tek Syndicate mostly for Logan, followed the break up of these guys and watched Crit.tv instead of Tek Syndicate.^^
I'm a "technical communication assistant"...apparently that Job only exists in Germany so it's a bit difficult to explain in detail, but basically its a "Computer Science Expert Subject Area: System Integration" with some special stuff...we didn't learn any programming language for example. We had "technical English", learned proper forms to communicate and how this kind of stuff can work in a corporation. Basically, I'm an Admin that tells the managers what they want to hear (or don't) and I try to break IT-Stuff down so that people who have no idea do understand what's going on.
TBH, i may have the wrong job, because i find it increasingly difficult to break down things...especially the whole surveillance stuff.
Leading on to that, I'm a Linux guy. Using Arch Linux on a daily basis for about 3 years now, sometimes Cinnamon, most of the time Gnome (although the last few Updates feel very unstable...). For the most part of those 3 years my main PC had Windows on it - that changed over the last 2 Months. I've switched to Arch on my main PC, too, put a fresh Windows 8.1 Install on the spare SSD and tried gaming on Linux. And i have to say, i'm impressed how well it works. And now that Star Citizen will be switchting to Vulkan, maybe Elite Dangerous will follow and i don't need Windows at all...
Anyway, enough about me, see you around!
